The Ice Maiden

Illustration 13 from a series of illustrations I made in a contemporary twist on Hans Christian Andersen's tale: The Ice Maiden. My primary aim was to challenge the implications behind societal judgements and stereotypes.

A montage of some of the main illustrations from the series. My secondary focus was on the study of facial expressions/emotions.

Hutt Valley Tennis Logo

Hutt Valley Tennis required an updated logo for their club. The image depicts a tennis player preparing to serve and his arms represent the winding Hutt River.

Dragon Slayer

Commissioned as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek private piece, the client wanted her partner (an Auckland businessman and Fantasy games enthusiast) depicted as a hero who had just saved the city from a wicked dragon on his way to work.
